Next Burnout Game Won’t Focus on Racing

Recently the Australian Classification Board revealed a new Burnout game titled “Burnout Crash” for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Since then we haven’t heard squat. Luckily, Joystiq did some researching and found out a short synopsis of the game. “An action arcade style game set in the fictional world of Crash City. The aim of the game is to cause as much damage as possible to traffic and buildings by crashing a car into them.” So it seems that “Burnout Crash” will be a full-fledged game solely dedicated to crashing. Sure, previous Burnout games had modes where crashing was the main objective and it was fun…but an entire game dedicated to that aspect? With that in mind, it seems that “Burnout Crash” will be a downloadable title but nothing has been confirmed. Is it possible that this Burnout game will be similar to PSN’s downloadable title PAIN?

Pretty much your above average gamer who plays games profusely and appreciates them even more. Been gaming since the NES but is in love with anything PlayStation. No I am not a typical fanboy...I appreciate each system for their strengths and recognize their weaknesses. I just love the PS brand. (Think along the lines as someone who likes to read but loves one author in particular). Ever since my time as #2 in the world at Resistance 2, I have taken video games much more seriously. Don't get me wrong, I am a laid back, fun guy to game with...but I always play to win.
