Next Final Fantasy XV’s ATR Livestream Will Be in Japanese Only; Chocobo Contest Opens for the West
A few days ago we heard that the Final Fantasy XV team is preparing for a new Active Time Report livestream that will be held on April 21st.
Unfortunately, we learned today that the livestream will be only in Japanese, and won’t be subtitled in English, as it’s about events for Japan, not relevant for western fans.
Hi everyone, just letting you know the #FFXV ATR on April 21 will be in Japanese only without subtitles.

The plan is to talk to our Japanese fans about things happening in Japan which aren’t really relevant to our western fans.

Of course you can expect relevant ATRs in the future to be fully subtitled, and as usual we will tweet about any #FFXV news

On the other hand, western fans did get something today, as Square Enix opened the western version of the “become a chocobo keeper” contest, that was previously available only for Japan.
The contest encourages fans to follow the official Twitter account to unlock prizes, which will be different from the Japanese version.
The gifts you unlock by following us will be different to those unlocked by following @FFXVJP so be sure to follow us both!#chocobokeepers

At the moment we don’t know if the contest will include physical prizes, as the first tier still hasn’t unlocked.
