Metal Gear Solid titles are no slouches on the visual front, but with official confirmation that we'll be seeing the next-gen versions a little bit later this year, it's time to prepare to get blown away even more.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, the latest in the ongoing Metal Gear Solid series from Hideo Kojima, will be coming to the current-gen on Xbox 360 and PS3, but the next-gen versions on Xbox One and PS4 will be shown off at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2013, taking place from September 19th-22nd.

Even from just some of the trailers and screenshots released previously we know that MGSV is going to be gorgeous, but knowing that it will be coming to the next-gen systems only makes the wait that much more unbearable. Luckily though, TGS is only two weeks away, so the wait for that sneak preview won't be (too much) longer.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is currently in development for Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One, and PS4, with an unknown release date at this time.
