NHL 15’s  demo will kick off August 26, EA announced today at its Gamescom press conference.

EA also went into depth as to how they’ll be using the increased power of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The crowd will now be made up of more than 9000 unique models, with a more in depth level of programing that aims to give more emotion to the crowd. The players and puck have also been rebuilt from the ground up for more enhanced realism, EA said.

Finally, EA will be using live recorded commentary to create a greater sense of realism for players.

NHL 15 will release on September 12 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.

Update: Check out the updated players and crowd that will feature in NHL 15 in the trailer below.
