Today Bandai Namco Entertainment released a brand new trailer of Level-5's upcoming JRPG Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom.

The trailer features the game's beautiful visuals, with particular attention to the lighting, shadows, and the attempt (quite successful) to make it look like a 2D anime despite being created in 3D graphics.

As a bonus, we also get an explanation of the process by Art Director Nobuyuki Yanai.

As usual, it appears that the team's efforts have paid off, as every element of the game really looks fantastic, and not very different frim what we experienced with the first game, despite the lack of direct involvement by Studio Gibli.

You can check it out below. If you want to see more, you should watch a recent trailer from yesterday (featuring all-round cool dude Roland) the first 25 minutes of gameplay, and read our latest preview.

Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will launch for PS4 and PC on March 23rd, 2018.
