Bandai Namco released a new video for their RPG Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, coming to PlayStation 4 and PC-via Steam on March 23, 2018.

Following the recent announcement of the game's delay to from January 2018 its new date, this new behind-the-scenes video gives a look at the game's development over at Level-5. This includes a preview of how the studio created the world and the characters.

Normally, this is something that would be included in a special features section of the game, but this early look at Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom's development shows that Level-5 is hard at work at creating a game to live up to the success gained by its predecessor, Ni no Kuni.

This video was previously released in Japanese early Monday morning, but now can be viewed with English subtitles.

The reason for the game's delay was said to address concerns that the studio wouldn't have enough time to implement additional modes into the game. This includes the new Skirmish and Kingdom Modes, which they feel need to be implemented in a more cohesive way.

Earlier today, the developer release new screenshots showing artwork and setting all in 4k resolution.
