Remember Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom? The game launched in March, earlier this year and we now have new details on the title's first major content update. Additionally, the upcoming DLC has also been given a name.

According to the game's developer Level-5, Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom's upcoming DLC will be titled "The Lair of the Lost Lord." The biggest addition in this update will be a randomized dungeon known as the "Labyrinth." The dungeon will be more difficult than anything previously offered to players in the base game.

Furthermore, there will be new additions to the battle system in the form of "Gouki," which as of right now we know very little about. Players will also get access to a roughly 80 new weapons and armor as well as a whole slew of quests that go into each party members' backstory.

The Labyrinth is the place where tainted aura originated, causing monsters across Evermore to become the difficult tainted beasts players hunted in the base game. The big boss enemy will be King Lamikyl, the ruler of Labyrinth. You can check out some new screenshots of the DLC down below.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is available now on PS4 and PC. You can check out our review where we gave it an amazing 10 out of 10. Season pass owners will have access to the downloadable content as soon as it drops, I think it's safe to assume we'll probably get a release date sometime soon.
