Ni no Kuni PS3 is Golden — Seriously

If your name is Chad Awkerman and you’re an avaricious aficionado of the JRPG (have to be specific here) genre, you’re somewhat aroused for the Level 5/Studio Ghibli tie-up JPRG Ni no Kuni (which translates to “The Another World”), which has released on the DS in Japan, and is expected to have a PS3 version dropping on November 17. And, yes, it’s Japan only.

But if you have any reason to hate Japan because of your uncontrollable envy for all the great stuff they get before us, hate them for the Ni no Kuni “Magical Gold” PS3 that’s releasing with the game in November, again, exclusively in Japan. According to Famitsu, the ¥33,780 ($440) priced system is gold and features gold art, along with the sidekick character Shizuku.

I’ve been waiting to purchase a slim PS3 for a bit. This, ladies and gents, has pretty much given me a reason to get it (import anyone?). Now, let’s just pray to every deity that has congested humanity for the last couple of thousand years that this game gets a US release.
