Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Launch Trailer is a Beautiful Introduction to an Epic Game

on January 23, 2013 1:40 PM

There are few games I have been more excited for than Ni No Kuni, as it brings together Level 5, Studio Ghibli and a legendary composer like Joe Hisaishi in what could very well be the Holy Trinity of JRPGs.

Now that the game is finally on the North American shelves Namco Bandai published a launch trailer that can only be defined “beautiful” and “epic”. It’s the perfect introduction to a game that brings a lot of emotional connection and awesome characters to the table.

Unfortunately the wait has been excessively long, as fourteen months for a localization of any game is a ridiculous amount of time, and aims the spotlight at the unjustifiable wait we have to suffer from most publishers for titles of this genre (when they are even localized at all). Europeans like me will have to wait another week, mind you, as the game gets released on February the 1st here.

But I’m digressing. The game is finally here (or about to be here, depending on where “here” is), and you can enjoy the trailer below.
