Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Will be Released in the US this Winter

Namco Bandai just announced with a press release that the PS3 exclusive Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch will be released in the US in Winter 2012, after the European branch of the company shared earlier today that fans in Europe will have to wait for the first quarter of next year.

This will probably make American fans feel quite a lot better and European ones feel quite a lot worse. Luckily the PS3 is region free, so European gamers won’t necessarily have to wait.

On the other hand it’s very possible that the actual release dates will still be the same or very near to each other. The wording is, in fact, potentially misleading. “Winter 2012” does extend by quite a lot into the “First Quarter of 2013”.

The US version of the game will include both Japanese and English voice tracks like the European one, but no mention was made in the press release about subtitles in languages other than English. I doubt many will care about that.
