Known for its savage fencing-based gameplay, Nidhogg 2 released last year with several new layers and wrinkles on top of the gameplay of the cult classic original title (along with a twisted new art style), with the game on the way later this year for the Nintendo Switch.
Developer Mark Essen announced today that Nidhogg 2 will be releasing for the Nintendo Switch later this year, which will give Switch players the chance to experience first-hand the bizarre and brutal multiplayer combat that the series has been known for.
Of course, Nintendo also has plenty of other indie games in store for the Nintendo Switch over the course of the next year, as the company’s Nindies Direct unveiled several other games expected for the system this year, such as The Banner Saga series, Mark of the Ninja Remastered, and many others.
Nidhogg 2 is available now on PS4, PC, and Mac, and will be heading to the Nintendo Switch later this year.
