While eSports with games like Dota 2 and League of Legends are all the rage across the country, if pixelated blood and digitized fencing is more of your thing, you might want to check out one of the upcoming console releases for Nidhogg.

Released on PC earlier this year, over on the PlayStation Blog it was announced that indie fencing title Nidhogg will be releasing for PS Vita in the near future, joining alongside the previously-announced PS4 version.

Featuring a variety of single player and multiplayer modes as users battle it out sword-to-sword on the playing field, the PS Blog also revealed that the game will be available as a Cross-Buy purchase on Sony's consoles, so purchasing either the PS4 or PS Vita version of the game will net you the other version for free. No release date is confirmed at this time.

Nidhogg is currently available on PC, and will be coming to PS4 and PS Vita.
