Square Enix's announced today that NieR: Automata's demo will be releasing in North Americaand Europe  on December 22nd, coinciding with Japan's release of it that same day.

The demo will involve the same content as the one announced for Japan, with heroine 2B on the hunt for a giant superweapon within the ruins of a abandoned factory left behind by the human race.

It was revealed during PlayStation Experience 2016 that the full game will be coming stateside to PlayStation 4 consoles on March 7th. The release date was announced alongside a Black Box Edition" of the game, which comes in at $189.99 but includes a pretty awesome figure.

The game will also be released on Steam at some point, even if a release date has not been announced. The demo will be only on PS4.
