Square Enix announced today that Nier: Automata is coming to PlayStation 4 on March 7, 2017. Fans eager to get their hands on the game will be able to download a consumer demo for free download on PSN "soon."

For gamers in search of exclusive items to complement the fast-paced action, Square also announced Nier: Automata's  “Black Box Edition,” also exclusive to PS4.

Coming in at $189.99, the collector’s edition box will include the game, a crafted YoRHa “2B” Figurine, a hardback 64-page artbook detailing the stunning artwork and illustrations from the game, a steelbook case featuring artwork from renowned Akihiko Yoshida (Final Fantasy XIV / Bravely Default), a soundtrack containing 13 live recorded songs from Nier and Nier: Automata, composed by veteran Keiichi Okabe from Monaca, Inc. (Tekken / Drakengard / Nier), and a plethora of digital content.

Copies of this edition of the game will be limited.

The Day One edition will include the game and digital content found in the collector's edition.

Nier: Automata is being developed by PlatinumGames Inc. and will be coming to PlayStation 4 on February 23 in Japan. Screenshots released late last month detailed a couple new areas called “Forest Zone” and “Forest Castle”.
