Yesterday we reported on the NieR: Automata: Game of the YoRHa Edition being officially confirmed by director Yoko Taro. Today we've had confirmation on a release date, and we'll see the title arriving next year in February.

As we've seen, PlatinumGames' title has sold over 3.5 million copies and finds players taking control of androids 2B, 9S and A2 as they wander a post-apocalyptic world in hopes to bring it back under the control of humans. Back in November, we saw leaks of the game of the year edition when a new ERSB listing went live.

The NieR: Automata: Game of the YoRHa Edition will include the base game as well as the 3C3C1D119440927 expansion and the Machine Mask Accessory. It'll also bring four Pod designs: Grimoire Weiss, vintage gray Pod, red vintage Pod, and cardboard Pod.

Additionally, those who grab the PS4 version of NieR: Automata: Game of the YoRHa Edition will grab hold of a dynamic theme, a selection of fifteen PSN avatars, the Pod console skin, and the amazarash Head Pod Skin. Steam purchases will gain two wallpapers.

You'll be able to grab the NieR: Automata: Game of the YoRHa Edition only on PS4 and PC starting from February 26, 2019. A physical edition will also be available for PS4.
