NieR: Automata for PS4 and PC Gets 30 Minutes of Spectacular Gameplay Showing Mounts and Pod Skills [UPDATED]

Today Square Enix Showcased about 30 Minutes of gameplay of NieR: Automata, that will be released in Japan on February 23rd and in the rest of the world early next year for PS4 and PC.

The video, that you can see below, stars Creative Director Yoko Taro, Producer Yosuke Saito and Game Director Takahisa Taura as they introduces a couple of really spiffy features.

The first is mounts, letting B2 ride different animals that she can find around the environment. We also get to see Pod skills, that activate a vast array of different abilities that can be used for attack, defense and even utility out of combat, for instance scanning for items.

You can enjoy the gameplay below, starting at the 00:14:30 mark, with a glimpse on the upcoming concert Blu Ray at 55:40.
