Today Square Enix is celebrating Jump Festa in Tokyo, and during the livestream they showcased a brand new gameplay trailer of NieR: Automata.
The trailer, that you can see below, showcases not only the Engine Blade weapon from Final Fantasy XV, but also a second crossover, the “Cypress Stick” from the Dragon Quest series.
When equipping the weapon, the floating damage numbers will be shown in a fashion more similar to Dragon Quest games, and the treasure chests will also change in appearance.
You can check it out below.
Soon we’ll be able to play the demo of the game ourselves. It will be released for PS4 on December 22nd, while the game will launch in North America on March 7th, 2017, and European gamers will get it on March 10th. A PC version is also planned, but no release date has been shared for the moment.
