NieR: Automata Gets Pod Skins Aplenty and Machine Life Form Mask as Bonuses

Today Square Enix revealed the bonuses for NieR: Automata on the Japanese market, ahead of the game’s local release on February 23rd.

Those who will purchase the first print of the game will get a replacement model for the Pod reproducing the Grimoire Weiss from NieR.

Various retailer-specific bonuses will be available, with third-party retailers getting differently colored skins for the Pod, and the Square Enix online store getting a machine life form mask.

Funnily, the white and black skin for the pod are named respectively “retro white” and “retro red,” and they appear to be obvious homages to the Super Famicom and the Sega Master System.
