NieR: Automata Looks Absolutely Fantastic (and Crazy) In New Videos Showing Perspective Change and Battle

on September 17, 2016 12:29 AM

During a stage event at Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix showcased new gameplay of NieR: Automata.

You can check them out below, and experience fo yourself just how crazy it looks, with drastic camera perspective changes and absolutely stunning action.

We also learn of the implementation of Auto Mode (used in the third video below), designed to help players that aren’t very good at action games. While it’ll make the game much easier while retaining the flashy looks and action, good players in manual mode will get much higher scores.

Auto mode will be available only in easiest level of difficulty, but you can switch difficulty levels at any time.

Incidentally, if you want to laugh, just watch the last video until the end.
