As you may know, the first NieR game launched for both the PS3 and Xbox 360, but for the moment NieR: Automata hasn't been announced for Xbox One. Yet, not all hope is lost.

At the moment Platinum Games have kept NieR: Automata exclusive to PS4 and PC, however, in a new interview with Game Rant, the developer didn't rule out the possibility that game might release on Xbox One.

In the interview, producer Yosuke Saito confirmed that the team is considering to release NieR: Automata to Xbox One, however, he added that the decision to do so will be based upon the success of the game on the PS4 and PC.

In the interview Saito-san also confirmed that that the game will be optimized for PS4 Pro, retaining the 60 FPS frame rate, while the team is trying to optimize it to run at 4K resolution (but he didn't clarify whether it would be native or upscaled).

NieR: Automata is set to release in Japan on February 23, 2017 for PS4. A western release and a launch on Steam have also been announced, but have no date as of right now.
