Following its release on the Japanese PlayStation Store, Square Enix has made the demo if its upcoming JRPG NieR: Automata available on the European PlayStation Store.

The demo can be downloaded here, weighing roughly 4.4 gigabytes.

It includes both English and Japanese voice acting, and it's downright awesome, featuring roughly 35 minutes of really slick action gameplay.

The demo still hasn't been released in North America, but nothing prevents you from downloading the European or Japanese version with a local account. It will work on your American account after installation, as long as the PS4 is set as primary console.

The NieR: Automata demo will let you in control YoRHa 2B as infiltrates abandoned factory to hunt and destroy a giant machine life form, accompanied by scout android YoRHa 9S.

The game will release in Japan for PS4 on February 23rd, in North America on March 7th, and in Europe on March 10th, 2017. A PC version is also scheduled to come next year, but no release window has been announced for that one.

Just yesterday, Weekly Famitsu revealed a new character named Anemone, and you can read about her here, together with a few more screenshots and an explanation of how ability customization works in the game.

While you wait for the big package to download, you can also check out our usual screenshot bomb post, on top of an official video posted by Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan and Asia.
