NieR: Automata PS4 Model Announced for Japan

Today, Sony Japan and Square Enix officially announced a new PS4 model for the Japanese market. Titled the Nier: Automata Emil Edition, the new PS4 model features — in case you don’t have your glasses on — Emil’s head on the top of the system. The model is set to release alongside the game on February 23, 2017.

It will be available via two different models: a 500GB version, and a 1TB version. The aforementioned will cost 33,480 yen, while the later will cost 38,480 yen.

Beyond the jet black, specially designed PlayStation 4, the package also comes with a NieR: Automata original PS4 theme, and sexy NieR: Automata-themed packaging. Of course, all the normal items —  like a black DualShock 4, a power cord, a USB and HDMI cable, and a headset — are also included.
