NieR: Automata for Xbox One Shines In New Announcement Trailer and First 4K Screenshots

Microsoft showcased the Xbox One version of NieR: Automata Become as Gods Edition with a brand new trailer showing the game.

June 10, 2018

Following a leak earlier today, Square Enix officially announced NieR: Automata Become as Gods Edition for Xbox One during the Xbox press conference from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

As we heard earlier today, the game will cost $49.99, including the following.

  • Base NieR: Automata game ($59.99 value)
  • The 3C3C1D119440927 expansion DLC ($13.99 value)
  • Grimoire Weiss Pod
  • Retro Red Pod Skin
  • Retro Grey Pod Skin
  • Cardboard Pod Skin
  • The Machine Lifeform Mask Accessory

It will be released exclusively on the digital marketplace, so you’re out of luck if you want a physical box, but it’s definitely better than nothing, especially considering the price.

You can check out the trailer below, alongside the first 4K screenshots. If you’re not familiar with the game, you can check out my review of the PS4 version.

If you don’t have an Xbox One and for some reason you missed NieR: Automata, the game is currently available for PS4 and PC.

Of course, this is just one of the many reveals from today’s Xbox press briefing. You can check out everything else in the livestream directly from Microsoft.
