NieR: Automata’s 2B Makes a Surprise Appearance in Modded Resident Evil 2 Remake

If you're totally sick and tired of Claire in Resident Evil 2 on PC, you can now replace her with NieR: Automata’s 2B in this fun mod

Everywhere you look lately you’ll have noticed a running theme in games in which the skilled folk of the gaming community has added things like a very disturbing Thomas the Tank Engine into Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Shaggy from Scooby-Doo added into Jump Force as a fully playable character or that one time someone turned all the zombies in Resident Evil 2 into Tofu. Don’t expect that crazy train to stop anytime soon as now you can play as 2B from NieR Automata in Resident Evil 2 Remake.

Over on NexusMods, modder ‘TXYI’ has implemented a new mod for Resident Evil 2 Remake that replaces Claire’s Noir DLC costume and also comes with full physics effects. Needless to say, this is a must for all fans of NieR Automata and Resident Evil 2. Don’t get too excited if you thought you could hack and slash your way through Resident Evil 2 Remake with 2B’s unique skillset as, unfortunately, this mod does not bring any gameplay changes to the game regarding melee combat mechanics or sword fighting.

You can check out some screenshots of 2B strutting around the corridors, below.

If you’re a 2B fan (then again, who isn’t) check out some pretty cool cosplay by Russian born Shirogane-sama as she becomes the YoRHa android herself.

Resident Evil 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you have yet to experience the terrors of Raccoon City, you can pick up the game on Amazon right now.
