In 2018, the NieR: Orchestra Concert sold out four shows in Toky. The performance, which features the incredible music from the franchise, was a massive hit in Japan. They are capitalizing on the hype by bringing the show to new locations. Square Enix announced today that the concert will be coming to the US, UK, and Thailand in early 2020.

The show will come to the Rosemont Theatre in Chicago on January 24, 2020. They will then hop the pond and take center stage at London's Royal Festival Hall on February 2. Finally, the orchestra will go to Bangkok's Prince Mahidol Hall on February 15 and 16. The four shows will feature a full symphony orchestra and conducted by Arnie Roth, a Grammy Award-winner. Additionally, vocalist Emi Evans will perform some of her songs from NieR: Automata.

Series director Yoko Taro will be working with composer Keiichi Okabe to produce new visuals that will accompany the show. Taro and Okabe made these visuals specifically for the concert, which might make them worth the price of admission for NieR superfans.

Tickets for the Chicago performance will go on sale on October 10. No word yet on the price. That said, it would be surprising if prices weren't high. After all, the show only has one performance in the States. If you haven't played NieR: Automata yet, do yourself a favor and pick it up. The game is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Yoko Taro's masterpiece is well worth the price of admission.
