Square Enix is holding a special live stream ahead of the release of the global version of NieR Reincarnation, the first mobile gacha game of its critically acclaimed JRPG series.

With its brand new story helmed by Yoko Taro and his team of scenarists, NieR Reincarnation is a must-play for fans.

NieR Reincarnation release date, live stream

First things first, the global version of NieR Reincarnation will be launching on Android and iOS on July 28th. Pre-registration is already open too, so if you plan to try out the game, you better pre-register now.

Next, Square Enix will hold regular live streams for the global release of Reincarnation. The first stream is happening this July 22 at 9 PM EST. Click here for a table with other time zones and a countdown. The English Twitter account for the game promised an exciting stream with live gameplay.

You'll be able to watch the stream on the Square Enix Twitch channel.

Japanese voices, different balance on Global

It's also interesting to note Square Enix held a Closed Beta Test for the global version. In the follow-up survey, many players asked for Japanese voices to be implemented for the release version. And it's happening. Some balance changes will also be made too, hinting that the game difficulty-wise will be different from the Japanese version.

NieR Reincarnation was first launched in Japan on February 18. For now, it's unclear how behind the global version will be in terms of events and collabs. We might hear more during the Square Enix Twitch stream.

The Japanese version also teased earlier this July that a large-scale update is coming soon with a new Quest type titled "Subjugation Battles" (will probably be officially localized under another term in the global version).

The game also has regular live streams in Japan. The 8th stream happened on July 16 with several seiyuu as guests.
