Aksys Games revealed that the 2D fighter Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st] will launch in North America for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita on February 9, 2018, while PQube announced that the game will launch in Europe on the same day for those platforms.

Developed by French Bread, creators of Melty Blood, Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st] is an entry of the Under Night 2D tournament fighting series. The game has a balance of traditional 2D fighting gameplay fused with over-the-top anime fighters, including newcomers, Phonon, Mika, Enkidu and Wagner.

Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st] boasts 20 playable characters across 19 stages, as well as a Chronicle Mode that allows new and returning players the chance to play through an all new story mode.

The game has been completed re-balanced from the previous Under Night entry, with characters keeping their old abilities, but adding new gameplay elements. This includes the ‘Veil Off’ system that opens up new combo opportunities.

Additional modes includes, Mission Mode where players can learn new skills and take on challenges, and Tutorial Mode, which is pretty self explanatory so go out there and learn some combos.

A new trailer was also released to celebrate the game launch, which introduces characters from the game and also gives a preview of the gameplay.

Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st] will be available to play at PlayStation Experience 2017.
