After their acclaimed indie adventure Oxenfree released back in 2016, developer Night School Studio is well into working on their next project, called Afterparty, and now the first trailer for the upcoming game has been released to give a peek at the studio's next venture.

Night School Studio has released the first gameplay trailer for Afterparty, which revolves around the story of two friends named Milo and Lola, who are recently-deceased best friends that find themselves in the brinks of Hell and faced with only one way out of their predicament - by outdrinking Satan.

In addition to the new footage showing gameplay and bits of the story, the game's voice cast was also revealed, as Janina Gavankar (Star Wars Battlefront II) and Khoi Dao (Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale) will be voicing the two lead characters Lola and Milo, respectively.

Afterparty is currently in development and expected to release in 2019. In the meantime, you can check out the game's very first trailer below for a closer look at what's in store for Milo and Lola as they try to earn their way back to Earth by beating Satan in a drinking contest:
