Night Trap: 25th Anniversary Edition Showcases Theater Mode in New Trailer
The upcoming Night Trap: 25th Anniversary Edition will provide players with a new Theater Mode to experience all of the in-game cutscenes seamlessly.
The controversial 1990s classic Night Trap is heading back to the TV screens of gamers later this year with the upcoming Night Trap: 25th Anniversary Edition release, and along with a new chance to play the cult classic, a new Theater Mode feature has debuted.
In a new trailer for the upcoming re-release, Night Trap: 25th Anniversary Edition showcases a new Theater Mode that allows viewers the chance to experience the variety of cutscenes and scenarios available within each of the game’s corridors and hallways.
Developer Screaming Villains clarified in a tweet that in Theater Mode, viewers will not only be able to view all of the different cutscenes available in each location, but viewers will also be able to view them with the original audio cuts of each scene, instead of the overdubbed versions that made their way into the game.
Originally released back in 1992, Night Trap: 25th Anniversary Edition was announced earlier this year as a celebration of the game’s milestone anniversary, with the re-release offering the chance for players to experience a unique cult classic that was surprisingly controversial back in its day.
Night Trap: 25th Anniversary Edition is coming to PS4 and Xbox One later this year – in the meantime, you can check out the brand new trailer below:
In Theater, if you watch a code change scene you will hear it with the original cut audio instead of the overdubbed code change dialogue.
