Koei Tecmo confirmed today that Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon will be coming west for PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

The game will release on October 24 in a North America and October 27 in Europe. As many might have expected, it's skipping the PS Vita, that got a version in Japan, while Koei Tecmo is adding a Steam version for PC.

Nights of Azure 2 is a follow up to Nights of Azure, released last year on PS4 (with PS3 and PS Vita versions in Japan) and later on PC. It's set in a world that never sleeps where players must fight enemies and destroy the darkness set loose upon the lands. In battle, players must use both Lily and Demon characters cooperatively in order to execute more powerful attacks.

Incidentally, we also get the official transliterations of the names of three of the protagonists, Alushe Anatoria, Liliana Selphin and Ruhenheid Ariarod.

This is a title that western action JRPG fans have been waiting for since the game was first revealed. Additionally, this will be Koei Tecmo's first Nintendo Switch title published in the west.

DualShockers has been avidly following the game's development, which is often updated with new screenshots and trailers. Recently, a new trailer showing some of the character interactions was posted to give fans a preview of some of the new and returning characters.
