Koei Tecmo released some new details about the western release of their action RPG Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon, coming to PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC on October 24 in North America and October 27 in Europe.
The details cover how the player will approach some of the bigger hordes of monsters throughout Night of Azure 2, by utilizing the game's battle party system. Players will be able to enter a dungeon with Aluche, a chosen NPC, and up to two Servants. Each team member will be able to bring something new to the party by way of skills, ranged or melee, and power-ups to combine with Aluche's attacks.
Aluche's Servant allies will attack enemies throughout battle on the own accord. These attacks range from status ailments, to dealing critical attacks. For example: by equipping Scharf players will see electric spheres paralyze enemies.
Aluche learns that the blood of her enemies can be used to power her up even further, including being able to add new abilities. This system will allow players to customize their level-up tree of the character to play the way they prefer.
Additionally, the publisher released a net trailer introducing Elenor Ernest, the passionate chocolatier, and a Christophorus, a pure-blooded demon who returns from Nights of Azure. Both will bring their unique talents to bear in effort to aid Aluche in her fight against the Moon Queen.
