Nine Parchments Releases a Nintendo Switch Demo and a Magical Trailer

Frozenbyte announces that its 4-player co-op blast 'em up Nine Parchments now has a playable demo available on the Nintendo Switch.

Back when Nintendo held its Nindies Showcase, we learned that Frozenbyte’s multiplayer action RPG Nine Parchments would be releasing on the Nintendo Switch. Following that reveal, we even got to see the game in action on the system in a thrilling trailer. Well, today we not only get a new trailer of the game running on Nintendo Switch, but we have learned that the game now has a playable demo available on the platform!

Today, you can visit the Nintendo eShop in both the US and in Europe to download a demo of Nine Parchments. This demo version of the game won’t allow players to access online features or the game’s additional spells/skill point system, but it will give access to three of its levels and four-player local co-op.

Frozenbyte CEO Lauri Hyvärinen says that although Nine Parchments is still undergoing its submission process and no precise launch date has been revealed, the team wanted to provide something to eager gamers to “make the wait a little bit easier.” Once the game has passed certification on all of the platforms that it plans to release on, an exact launch date will be revealed.

Nine Parchments is expected to release for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch sometime later in 2017. For more information on the game, you can visit its official website or its Steam page.
