Team Ninja development head Yosuke Hayashi recently disclosed information about two highly prized gaming franchises: Dead or Alive (DOA) and Ninja Gaiden. The reveal took place at a dinner event hosted at a “ninja house in the woods of Tokyo” Dead or Alive Dimensions is a Nintendo 3DS title that takes players through all four chapters of the Dead Or Alive series.
Ambitious, yes? Players who’ve been there already have yet to see the series in “gorgeous 3D” or been able to take it around with them. The game has no release date and is apparently “20%” complete. Secondly and probably why you’re still reading, is Ninja Gaiden III, the long awaited sequel to 2008’s bloody action fest.
The direction Team Ninja is taking in the sequel is apparently “summed up in one image” which would be the one above. So I suppose that means the game will be bloody? No release dates or further details have been disclosed about the game; look for more as the Tokyo Game Show proceeds.
