Ninja Theory just released the first developer diary video for the upcoming “AAA Indie” game Hellblade which will be released first on PS4.

The video tells the tale of the creation of the trailer that debuted at Sony’s Gamescom conference, giving us a glimpse on Ninja Theory’s CGI development pipeline and on what happened behind the scenes in the weeks before the trade show in Cologne. We also gets an early version of the trailer made just with storyboard shots, mocap scenes starring video editor Melina Juergens and unfinished environments.

Finally, the developer also revealed some lovely high resolution props used for the trailer and new artwork. You can check them all out below.

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
