Nintendo Announces Gamecube Controller Option in New Super Smash Bros. Tournament Video

Nintendo turned a lot of heads today when they released a new video for their upcoming Super Smash Bros. at E3: one, because of the sheer amount of tourney details (including players, character roster and rules) and two, due to the reveal of Gamecube controller option for Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U. Feast your eyes on this:

For those not in the know, tournament players from the Smash scene have been playing with the Gamecube controller since Melee. Because of that and many other factors, it’s the controller of choice. Making this option available means that Nintendo was seriously listening to their fans. Also, you can’t beat the cheesy ’70s-style porno music that plays during its reveal.
