And so it begins. Black Friday shopping season is upon us, and that means that advertisements and sales are going to begin popping up all over the place and thankfully many of them discount some great game. Nintendo announced today the deals that gamers can expect this month, a move that may drive our wallets and our holiday wishlists.

To begin, the "Link green" Nintendo 2DS is on sale for $79.99,  but the deal here is that the console comes pre-loaded with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. The 2DS is a champion of travel; it's a console that is more durable than its flip-screened cousins.

Next, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Explorer's Edition is on sale for $59.99. Not only net you a generation-defining game but also includes a 100-page explorer's guide and a two-sided map of Hyrule.

While these may not be as exciting as the infamous Nintendo Legend of Zelda 3DS deal for $100 that took place last year at Walmarts around the country – a move that was so outrageous that it found its way into an episode of Rick and Morty – they're still great deals for fans of The Legend of Zelda franchise and incredible deals if you're as obsessed with collecting the game's various exclusive consoles and trinkets.
