…has it already been 20 years?! Apparently yes: it’s been 20 years since gamers were first told that they “gotta catch em all” with the release of Pokemon Red and Blue, and now Nintendo is celebrating the release of one of its most iconic franchises with a new bundle.

Nintendo announced a new bundle collecting a New Nintendo 3DS handheld and pre-installed copies of both Pokemon Red and Blue on February 27th, 2016, which will also coincide with the titles’ release on the Nintendo 3DS eShop (along with the release of Pokemon Yellow, though that title is not included in the bundle).

The bundle will include both games pre-installed on the system, along with two special edition faceplates featuring the iconic cover art of the Red and Blue games, along with a download code for a new Pokemon-themed 3DS home menu theme.

The new Red and Blue bundle is just one part of Nintendo and The Pokemon Company’s celebrations for the series’ 20th anniversary, which will also include a variety of special Pokemon events, re-releases of the animated films, and much more to come.

Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow will be available digitally on the Nintendo 3DS eShop on February 27th, 2016.
