Apparently, Nintendo of America judged that the kids playing the game (that is incidentally rated M for Mature by the ESRB), would be forever mentally scarred by seeing such a raunchy display of skin, and removed the outfits from the North American version of the game.

This isn't the first time that NOA decides that its games include contents too questionable to be released in their original form. We'll have to wait and see whether titles like Xenoblade Chronicles X and Genei Ibun Roku #FE will reach our screens unscathed or will suffer a similar treatment.
