Nintendo has a big holiday season ahead for both the 3DS and Switch, and tonight the company showed off plenty of what it has in store for its flagship systems in the company's latest Nintendo Direct that packs in a ton of announcements into 45 minutes.

The latest Direct broadcast is officially over, and if you missed out, don't worry: we've got it right here. At just over 45 minutes there's a lot to unpack from Nintendo's announcements. That included a mix of several known games for their systems, such as Super Mario Odyssey and Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and a mix of indie titles arriving this year, such as Rocket League on the Switch this holiday, and a new version of Minecraft that is heading to the New Nintendo 3DS today digitally (and in stores in the near future).

However, a few surprises managed to sneak in, such as the confirmation that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on Switch will be coming this November, and surprise releases of both DOOM and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus are on their way to the Switch this year and next year, respectively.
