Nintendo released a Mini Direct showcasing third-party games that will be coming to Switch within the next year. Here’s everything that was announced:

The Direct opened with gameplay footage of the upcoming expansion for Monster Hunter Rise, Sunbreak. They also revealed a roadmap for the game’s free updates, with several new monsters arriving over the coming months. Sunbreak releases on June 30.

Nier Automata is getting a Nintendo Switch port and they’re calling it the End of YoRHa edition. It will include all previously released content for the game as well as new exclusive costumes. This edition will release on October 6.

A new film noir adventure puzzle game was revealed during the Direct. Lorelei and the Laser Eyes is coming from publishers Annapurna Interactive and will be a timed exclusive for the Switch following its release in 2023. You can watch the reveal trailer below:

Super Bomberman R is getting a sequel next year. The game will feature a 16-player “castle mode” where one player will attempt to stop the other players from reaching treasure chests. The game will also have a 64-player battle royale mode.

Blanc is a story about a wolf and a cub working together to advance across a snowy wasteland, and it has a very charming art style. The game will feature no text as it seeks to approach storytelling in a different manner than usual. Blanc is planned to release in February 2023.

The eagerly anticipated Return to Monkey Island will launch first on PC and Nintendo Switch. The game will feature a radically different art style from the original. There is no specific release date confirmed as of yet but the game is planned to launch within the calendar year. You can watch the trailer below:

The 1999 classic 3D platformer Pac-Man World is getting a remake. Pac-Man World: Re-PAC is a complete remake of the original and will be released on August 26.

Upcoming spin-off Dragon Quest: Treasures has received a release date, December 9. The game features Erik (from Dragon Quest XI) and his sister Miago embarking on an adventure together.

The construction strategy game RAILGRADE which was released on PC last February will be getting a Nintendo Switch port. It’s planned to release on Switch this Autumn. RPG Time! The Legend of Wright, the literal pen-and-paper RPG that was released on other platforms last year is also being ported to Switch and will be released in August.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is an upcoming life simulator featuring iconic Disney characters that was announced a few months ago. As per the Direct, the game will be entering early access on September 6.

Speaking of life simulators, Harvestella is a new Square Enix life sim with an RPG twist. The plot of the game involves counteracting a new imbalance in the world where a fifth season called “Quietus” brings death and destruction in between the other four seasons. Harvestella will be released on November 4. You can watch the trailer here:

The Live a Live remake has received a demo which will be available on Switch imminently. The full prologue demo contains three distinct time periods, Imperial China, Twilight of Edo Japan and the Distant Future. Furthermore, progress made during the demo will be carried over to the full release which is next month on July 26.

The Mega Man Battle Network games are getting a legacy collection. The first two games as well as each individual part of the next four pairs of games (they were released in duos like Pokémon) will be coming to Nintendo Switch in 2023. The collection will also include a gallery with over 1,000 illustrations and a music library with 150+ songs.

Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope revealed a deeper look at the game’s combat during the Direct. The game's turn-based combat allows the player to move freely as long as they stay within a certain range. Bowser will also be joining the team, apparently. The game is set to launch on October 20 and more information will be revealed at Ubisoft’s showcase tomorrow which is scheduled to begin at 12pm ET.

Japanese mascot Doraemon will be starring in a new title called Doraemon Story of Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom. This game appears to be another life simulator as the features include tending to crops, meeting friends and building a ranch. The game will be released later this year.

A new Sonic Frontiers gameplay trailer also appeared at this Nintendo Direct. The trailer showcased some of the game’s open-world, combat and the enemies that Sonic will be facing off against. You can watch the new gameplay trailer here:

New rogue-lite Little Noah: Scion of Paradise will be available on Switch today. The game features the alchemist Noah who recruits monsters to her side as she adventures through a series of ruins. Rogue-lite mechanics apply, the ruins are ever-changing and if you die you start from the beginning. Also available today on Switch is the Portal: Companion Collection, a bundle of Portal and Portal 2.

At last, the Direct ended with the announcement that the Persona trilogy will be coming to Nintendo Switch on October 21. This was widely predicted as the Switch was notably absent from the announcement that Persona 5 Royal was being ported to platforms other than PlayStation.

That was a surprisingly large amount of announcements for a 30-minute video! If you’re still with us, here’s a recap of every game announced during the Direct and their respective release dates:
