One of the worst parts of living in New York City in June is being so far from the hustle and bustle of E3 [Editor's Note: try living in Europe... - G]. Actually, the worst part of living in New York City in June might be the smell on the trains. Regardless of which is worse, this year New Yorkers have something to celebrate as Nintendo has announced their "E3 Experience at Nintendo NY," a five-day event from June 11th through June 15th.

At select times throughout these days, gamers will be able to go to the Nintendo NY store in Rockefeller Center and participate in a variety of events. First and foremost, Nintendo NY will be streaming all of Nintendo's special E3 events during the week. These events include Nintendo's E3 Direct, Nintendo Treehouse: Live, the Splatoon 2 World Championship, and the Super Smash Bros. Invitational tournament.

In addition to watching these live streams, those that attend the "E3 Experience at Nintendo NY" will be able to play the upcoming Super Smash Bros. title as well as Mario Tennis Aces. Seeing as the latter was recently available to demo, something tells me that Super Smash Bros. is going to be a much hotter commodity at this event.

You can view Nintendo's Facebook post detailing the times of each event here.
