As part of the Nintendo Switch online service players will have many NES games available to play, and what better way to play them than with a classic Nintendo Entertainment System controller. These controllers are modeled after the original NES ones and can be attached to the Nintendo Switch console to be recharged just like the joycons.

Each controller can be used separately for any of the co-operative NES games you may play as part of the Switch online service. Shipments of the controller will begin to be sent out in mid-December 2018 and will cost $59.99 USD. They will become available for order as a special offer to online service subscribers at an undisclosed date. You can check out some images of the controllers in the gallery below.

With a Nintendo Switch Online membership, you can play enhanced NES™ games the way they’re meant to be played—using Nintendo Entertainment System-style controllers!
