President and Chief Operating Officer of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime made an appearance at Variety's Entertainment and Technology Summit in Los Angeles to talk about the Nintendo Switch demand into the upcoming holidays.

"Certainly the demand is there, and our supply chain is there,” Fils-Aime said  “Are we going to have enough for the holiday? That’s what we are focused on.”

The Switch released on March 3 earlier this year and the console is still tough to find in many areas all over the world. While Nintendo is focused on getting the console to as many consumers as possible, Fils-Aime's comments may mean that it could still be a tough find by the time the holidays come around.

Switch isn't the only thing that's potentially going to be hard to find during the holidays. The SNES Mini has also seen pre-orders go within minutes of being opened up to the public. Luckily we've written up a helpful pre-order guide so that you can get your hands on one.

Its been roughly six months since the Switch was released and we're excited to see where it goes next. Some of the games coming to the platform before the end of 2017 include: Super Mario Odyssey, Pokkén Tournament DX, Fire Emblem Warriorsand Rocket League.
