Slowly but surely Nintendo is stripping under-used features from the Wii U. According to a press release from Nintendo, the House of Mario is doing away with the Google Maps integrated street-view service. Originally debuting February 14, 2013, the program let you travel in street view around iconic places.

The service is officially ending at midnight on March 31st, and the service will be stripped from eShop on January 31, 2016. According to Nintendo, this is to "focus [their] resources in other areas." This isn't the first removal of Wii U service, the other notable one being TVii on August 11, 2015.
