Nintendo Labo: Vehicle Kit Revealed for Switch; Coming September 14
Nintendo is expanding their papercraft series, this time with Nintendo Labo: Vehicle Kit on Nintendo Switch coming September 14.
Don’t worry cardboard fans — Nintendo hasn’t forgotten about you. After a long wait, we finally have a brand new Nintendo Labo package, this time with a focus on vehicles. Get ready to drive, fly, swim, and everything in-between in the new set-up.
Revealed moments ago, the Nintendo Labo: Vehicle Kit will be coming September 14, 2018 at the same reduced price as the Variety Kit — $69.99. According to the press release, builders will be able to create a car, submarine, plane, pedal, keys, and other vehicle-related stuff.
It would appear that the vehicle kit is semi-adventure related, where you will be able to explore an open world. Through switching keys, you can switch between vehicles; at one moment you are a pilot, and in the next moment you are captaining a submarine. The different vehicles are not just cosmetic either, with each having its own dedicated control scheme.
Even better, the open world (which you can see in the video below) looks a bit more expansive than previous Labo games. Beyond just driving and exploring, it looks like you can take part in mini-games like golf, cut down trees, explore for treasure, shoot scorpions, and fill up on gas.
As mentioned above, Nintendo Labo: Vehicle Kit is coming to Nintendo Switch on September 14, 2018. You can check out the trailer of Nintendo Labo: Vehicle Kit and images of what you can create below:
