Things are beginning to heat up for Germany's Gamescom 2018 and Nintendo has revealed what it will be bringing to the show.

First and foremost players attending the con will get the chance to spend some hands-on time with a couple of highly anticipated upcoming titles. They'll be able to check out some of Super Mario Party's mini-games for the first time, as well as making a ruckus in the incredibly tight Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. A number of Nintendo Switch ports will also be available to test drive including Dragon Ball FighterZ, Dark Souls: Remastered and Fifa 19. Completing the lineup of playable games is Killer Queen Black, Starlink: Battle for Atlas and the long-awaited return of Travis Touchdown in Travis Strikes Back: No More Heroes which will differ from his regular affair.

For those who can't make it to Germany to experience Gamescon 2018 first hand, there are still a few treats in store. Nintendo's YouTube channel will be rolling out unseen footage from Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna- The Golden Country, DAEMON X MACHINA, and Super Mario Party from the show's floor.

Gamescom 2018 takes place in Cologne, Germany from August 21 to August 25. Super Mario Party lands on Nintendo Switch on October 5.
