I'm sure I wouldn't be the only gamer who has a Vitamin D deficiencies due to the general lack of exposure to sunlight. With Nintendo being one of the many causes for many not going outside, it seems only fitting that they're now partnering with Shu Uemura -- the Japanese cosmetic giant -- to create their a line of Super Mario Bros. makeup and skin-care products.

Nintendo Make-up

The line features a slew of lipstick shades, eyeliners, and lip stains. There's also a cool looking pallet featuring the iconic star, mushroom, fire flower, and mystery block (which is already sold out). The eyelash curler is gold and features a star trinket, and there's even a makeup box for you to store all of your gaming-related makeup in.

Even with my limited knowledge of beauty products, I have to say that the majority of the line's lipsticks and stains are a bit too pink, and with names like "Fire Flower Red" or "Princess Peach Pink," I wouldn't expect much less. However, it may be hard for people of all skin tones to find their perfect match.

If the line of Mushroom-Kingdom-style brushes, bronzers, and balms are too much for you, then you probably don't want to hear about the other fashion partnerships that Nintendo has had recently. In case you are interested though, Uniqlo has been doing several geek-related partnerships, including one with Metal Gear Solid which you can check out here – Spider-man, and Nintendo. You can check out more Nintendo news, including the addition of two new weapons to Splatoon 2 here.
