With Disney Tsum Tsum Festival launching on Nintendo Switch this year, Nintendo has revealed a limited edition Switch themed around the upcoming game.

Launching on October 10 to coincide with the Japanese release of the game, the console features purple and pink Joy-Cons and a dock that's themed around the popular Disney Tsum Tsum plushies. Currently, it's unclear if this special edition of the console will come to North America or any other region.

Published by Bandai Namco, Disney Tsum Tsum Festival is a party game featuring Tsum Tsum versions of your favorite Disney characters. Additionally, players rack up points in the game in order to unlock more characters along the way. The game also features online play for those that want to test their skills.

Recently, Nintendo announced the Nintendo Switch Lite, a dockless version of the console that features a smaller 5.5-inch display, and a longer battery life of 3-7 hours. Additionally, a Pokemon Sword and Shield version of the Switch Lite will be available on November 15. Nintendo also announced an upgraded version of the original Switch console that includes a longer battery life of 4.5-9 hours. While none of these are a Nintendo Switch Pro, which many have been asking for, it's a step in the right direction.

Disney Tsum Tsum Festival launches at some point in 2019 on Nintendo Switch. While there's no specific release date, the game is available for preorder on Amazon now.

If there are any updates on the Disney Tsum Tsum Festival Switch console coming to America, we'll be sure to let you know.
