Nintendo Surprises Entire Airline Flight With Free Wii U

Breaking news report: airplanes are dangerous. Dangerously awesome.

If you were flying on a Southwest Airlines flight sometime recently from New Orleans to Dallas, than you may have been one of more than 100 people to receive a brand new free Wii U (bundled with Super Mario 3D World to boot). And to this I say:

Why does this never happen to me?!

As part of a new promotion between Nintendo and Southwest Airlines, as you can view in the video below, the passengers on the lucky flight were pleasantly surprised, greeted by Mario himself upon touching down at their destination.

While future frequent flyers may not be as lucky as these recipients below, Nintendo will be creating Wii U game lounges in different airports nationwide, with Super Mario 3D World as their featured game, playable for free.

Super Mario 3D World was an awesome game; for more on the game, check out all of our details, screenshots and trailers.
