Nintendo Switch New Bundle to be Available on Black Friday, Multiple First-Party Games to be Discounted

Nintendo is releasing a new Switch bundle alongside markdowns for a variety of popular games later this month.

November 10, 2020

The Nintendo Switch has been one of the hardest gaming items to find in this pandemic-ridden year, but it looks as though a new wave of consoles will be available later this month.

Nintendo announced recently that a new Black Friday bundle for the Switch will be available later this month on the world’s busiest shopping day. The bundle will retail for its usual fare of $299.99, but it will also come with a free copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a three-month subscription to Nintendo Switch Online. If you’re looking to snag a Switch for yourself or a loved one this holiday season, this is probably going to be the deal that you should pursue.

Fortunately, even if you already own a Switch, Nintendo will also be discounting a number of games for the system, too. Titles such as Super Mario Maker 2Luigi’s Mansion 3The Legend of Zelda: Link’s AwakeningMario Tennis Aces, and Yoshi’s Crafted World will all be marked down to $39.99. While this might not seem like a very high discount, Nintendo rarely puts its first-party games on sale, so if you’ve been holding out to pick up any of these, this forthcoming sale could be the time to pounce.

Nintendo usually has a variety of sales that start around Black Friday and continue on through the end of the year, so we’ll assumedly be seeing more deals like this to close out 2020. If any of those ensuing sales end up being noteworthy, we’ll let you know.
